Coifs

Based on historical paintings, the Coif was worn by all classes of medieval society from peasant to knight. Similar coifs with different styles were worn through to the 17th century. It was worn as a simple head covering, or acts as a shield against oils from the hair for more elaborate head dressings. Fully lined and made from linen.
