Dagged Sleeved Gown

Based on historical paintings, this gown could be worn over the top of the male cotehardie. With dagged sleeves and a dagged hood to match this was the height of fashion in the 14th century. They could be plain coloured or parti coloured, made from wool and lined with brocade like the one above, or in velvet.

Based on historical paintings, the male cotehardie was cut to the hip and was made from many different materials including wool, velvet and brocade. Quite often they would be made out of fabric of the knight's colours.
